This training is designed to provide specific suggestions for avoiding the common pitfalls that presenters encounter which interfere with the effectiveness and impact of their message and ultimately their credibility.
Participants in the Preventing Presentation Pitfalls Workshop learn key techniques from preparation through delivery to avoid the pitfalls. You learn the techniques and strategies to:
- Prepare your content, presenter notes, and visual aids
- Manage nervousness during the delivery
- Demonstrate verbal and non-verbal delivery expertise
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Organize presentation content
- Prepare and use presenter notes
- Develop and use visual aids following recommended guidelines
- Manage nervousness before and during a presentation
- Use movements, stance, gestures, voice, eye contact, and facial expressions that maintain the attention of the audience
