Our client, a global telecommunications company, was launching a new product line to their international locations. The client’s sales staff needed to be trained on all technical aspects of the new product as well as the end user interface. The training course curriculum needed to be completed for the initial launch in two weeks.
Total Training Solutions provided a technical telephony instructional designer with an extensive background working in the telecommunications market for the initial project. Working with the client’s internal subject matter experts, our designer was able to promptly develop the training curriculum that included a web-based animated simulation to represent the various technical specifications of the new product as well as a support workbook for the instructor-led course. Total Training Solutions, in turn, facilitated the initial training workshops. The two week project evolved into a 2 ½ year term to develop detailed technical user guides around the new product and its subsequent iterations.
The client successfully launched the new product to its international sales force and provided extensive hands-on training to address all technical aspects and programming aspects of the new line. The sales force, in turn, was well prepared to market the new product line and effectively help their customers configure the installation of the new system.
