The demands of today’s complex and diverse workplace require that employees are well versed in and demonstrate proper etiquette in both everyday office interactions as well as in business related social situations. While the rules of etiquette were originally created to reduce tension in work and social situations, for those who are unsure of proper etiquette in a given situation, the level of tension actually increases.
Participants in the Business Etiquette Workshop learn:
- Formal Introductions – how to perform proper introductions
- Common Courtesies – etiquette for everyday workplace situations
- Breaking Bread – manners when sharing meals together
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Make introductions following accepted guidelines
- Demonstrate accepted behaviors related to privacy of co-workers, meeting attendance, receiving visitors, making a business visit, and interacting with co-workers
- Demonstrate accepted manners during business related social functions and meals
