The Situation

Our client purchased the assets of a defunct bank through the FDIC and, as part of their reopening strategy, was implementing an enterprise banking system. As a result, each bank employee needed to be trained on all aspects of the banking system to include new products and service processing, mobile banking, online personal banking, online business banking, bill pay (personal and business), and credit card processing. The challenge: All employees needed to complete training on each topic prior to the bank’s “go live” date leaving only 2 weeks to design and develop the required training courses.

The Solution

Total Training Solutions assembled a team of 3 instructional designers to design and develop the course materials into 10 distinct eLearning courses. Total Training Solutions’ team of designers adapted a rapid development process in order to meet the training launch deadline of 2 weeks. Within a week, our team developed 5 of the required courses and launched them for early release to the client employees. The remaining 5 courses were developed over the following week resulting in all 10 courses designed, developed and launched within the 2 week timeline. Each course was developed as eLearning modules with voice over and knowledge checks incorporated to reinforce and validate the employee learning.

The Success

Our client successfully trained each of their employees prior to the system conversion “go live” date affording their employees the skill set to effectively and efficiently service their international customer base. Under the direction of Total Training Solutions, the training modules were implemented into a bank sponsored learning management system (LMS) and is available for additional new employee training as well as refresher training.

The Situation

Our client, a compliance training company serving law enforcement and public safety agencies, provides mandatory annual compliance training for personnel with unique time schedules and who are dispersed throughout the country. The company wanted to respond to this need for on demand training that can be accessed remotely. Additionally, because the training is mandatory, participants must have documented proof that they have successfully completed the training.

The Solution

Total Training Solutions developed a comprehensive web based solution for the client. The training courses were designed to adhere to web based training principles and installed into a custom designed learning portal that provides for agencies to administer and track training events. Trainees can access the training any time day or night from any computer with internet access. The courses included course bookmarking, learning quizzes to confirm learning, and a final certification test with a printable Certificate of Completion.

The Success

The client has continued to grow its business to additional public agencies with its web-based compliance training courses that are accessible 24 hours a day from the convenience of any computer. The learning portal course completion tracking system has proven to be a significant enhancement to the course offerings for the public agencies.

The Situation

Our client, a major energy management company, was implementing a global Management Assessment Process (MAP) throughout their organization to all levels of employees. To aid in the rollout of the new process, the client was seeking a training vendor that could develop an eLearning training course to teach the principles of the process.

The Solution

Working with our client’s subject matter experts in the U.S. and Europe, Total Training Solutions’ instructional design team created the eLearning training course originally in English for the U.S. implementation and then worked with the client to have the course content and program translated and converted to French for their European implementation.

The Success

Our client was able to effectively rollout their MAP process to both their U.S. based employees as well as their European based employees in the respective native language. Within a minimal timeframe, the eLearning training modules were viewed by over 10,000 employees for a successful implementation.

The Situation

Because of new guidelines around BASEL (Basel Committee on Banking Supervision), our client, a major financial institution, needed an existing online course updated to BASEL II standards. Our client had existing course content that needed updating and required enhancements to the design to provide the learners with fresh learning experience.

The Solution

Total Training Solutions provided a senior instructional designer with a broad range of experiences including financial services to redesign the new BASEL II eLearning course. Our instructional designer was able to quickly assess the existing course content and work with the client SMEs to develop and design the new BASEL II eLearning course. The course consisted of four eLearning modules that was approximately one hour of learner seat time.

The Success

The client was able to promptly provide the eLearning course to approximately 2,000 internal employees and met their implementation timelines.

Additionally, our client was so pleased with the work style and work products of our senior instructional designer that our client converted our consultant from Total Training Solutions to that of a full time permanent employee within their organization.
